To
qualify for CLU and ChFC designations, an individual must
successfully complete a comprehensive course of study and
demonstrate competence by passing a series of college level
examinations in the areas of life and health insurance, pensions,
law, trusts, financing, economics, and business, financial,
and estate planning administered by The American College,
a fully credited institution. Rigid ethical, experience, and
continuing education requirements must also be met.
To
qualify for a CSSC designation, an individual must attend
the University of Notre Dame for classroom study, and successfully
complete a comprehensive examination in the areas of Casualty
Claim Practices, Special Needs and Reversionary Trusts, Business
Ethics, Negotiation, Fixed Income Analysis, Macroeconomic
Issues, and The Legal Process.
